Lakehaven Water and Sewer District is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager who can evaluate the safety protocols necessary for a variety of job sites and working conditions common to a water and sewer utility. While using positive and persuasive communication styles to train all levels of staff, and fostering safe work habits, the Safety Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and directing all of the health and safety related programs for the District on a daily basis, ensuring that all department work goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with appropriate safety standards and pursuant to local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate needs an adept ability to identify hazards in the work place and excellent writing skills to derive and document safety procedures essential for a productive workforce in the water and wastewater industry.
Position placement and pay is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
