The District is seeking an enthusiastic, self-driven asset management champion to serve as Director of Maintenance. This person will set priorities and optimize efficiencies so the District can continue to deliver high quality water to its customers at affordable rates. The best qualified candidate will enjoy leading people and driving positive change in a large organization. He/She will have experience planning, managing, directing and overseeing maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fleet and facilities assets to maximize the reliability and longevity of the District’s potable and water, wastewater and recycling facilities and systems.
Requires equivalent of or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance, Electrical Engineering or a related field; 10 years experience, including 5 as a supervisor. CWEA Grade IV Mechanical or Electrical certifications and SWQCB Grade 3 Water Distribution certifications are desired.
Salary: $131,448-$195,840 per year, DOQ.
